My heart is aching for so many of you today. I know that its Christmas and the New Year is fast approaching. I know so many of you are alone and in the depths of despair, such despair that you feel you cant go on with your lives any longer. You have been let down by others, family friends, co workers, and even in your minds by God too. You know life is full of ups and downs, things we never could imagine or expect would happen, they happen. Even though you may feel alone right now you need to know that you are NOT, if you feel like there is no body else that has your back, well you are very mistaken! There is always someone who loves and cares for you even if they arent sitting next to you or even if they are thousands of miles away. Life will knock us down and we can either choose to stay down or we can get up, dust off our knees, dry our tears and believe it or not start over....... Yes, start over, fail forward, learn from our mistakes, grow from our mistakes, be teachable, and have the courage to keep going. Dont let other peoples opinions of you matter, they arent you!! They havent walked in your shoes!! They dont know you and the truth is you dont know what other people are going through either. If you want a great way to humble yourself, stop looking at all that is wrong in your life and look around you. There is always someone who is worse off than you. Just because today, tomorrow, or next week, heck even next month isnt going right for you, does that mean you throw in the towel and give up? If you are still breathing you still have the potential to change your life and turn things around, its never too late to start over, its never to late too mend bridges, its never to late to live and be happy. Where you are today will not be where your are next year. It will never be smooth sailing, life isnt meant to be. So when it is smooth sailing enjoy the ride and let your hair blow in the wind. When life turns into a bumpy, dusty, and desolate road. Be stubborn and refuse to give up!! There is always a light at the end of the tunnel, always, but it takes work to get there. We cant value joy unless we have had the sadness in life too, its just the way it is. Believe in you and believe that you are here for a reason so have courage and get up, one baby step in front of the other and in time you will look back on this day and this moment and see how strong you really are.....
