My heart is so burdened by everything Ive seen and heard in the news lately concerning race relations and the injustices of this world. I think there is a lack of compassion for people in general. No matter what your opinions are surrounding the circumstances with these cases, someones family member is gone. No matter what, its still sad. What we all need to understand, especially those of us who call ourselves Christians, is that we are called to LOVE. Jesus was/is/will always be inclusive. He loves ALL. He didnt say that He loved AND DIED for everyone except the ones who cuss, drink, lie, steal, smoke, are prideful,(insert YOUR sin here). NO! He included all of us in His love, grace, and mercy! And SO SHOULD WE. We are commissioned to love. If your words arent fueled by that, they arent worth saying. So please pray, love, and encourage! And for the moments you have a hard time understanding someone else or a group of people, ask Him to teach you how to love.
