My heart is still aching over the news. Besides all the wonderful comments that have been posted and the great memories that are following I keep thinking about Bob Bardo and that he is FAMILY not just work family but family. I met him on my very first TV Show the Daytime Emmys when Lauri Chryss took a chance on me. And I have worked with him on many shows and he knew my love for soaps and always talked to me about them. There are so many stories and so many happy memories. I have smiled every time I got a notification that he liked a picture or comment I made cause I knew he was still apart of my life. There is a very special place in my heart for Bob. He even had family that used to live in my hometown and loved telling those stories. Once coming back to the hotel one New Years at Dick Clarks New Years Rockin Eve and he was there in the hotel lobby we sat and listened to his stories. Every time he would visit the script office we would ask a question to provoke him to go into his stories cause they are the best. I actually had a thought that he saw Marvel (from the Shrine) at the gates, filled out paperwork with Len Hughes, given an office near Gene Weed, ran into Wendy Charles Acey who says after orientation Ill show where all the cool things are, and then Dick Clark sees him and he says - hurry up I got a list of things for you to do. RIP Bob, you are missed by everyone you ever met cause you touched us all.
