My heart just broke into a million pieces. Parents please, I beg you to take the time and be there for your children. The following is a status from one of my babies. (Since the child is a minor, I did not just simply share the status) However, it broke my heart. Remember, when you are too busy, children notice. Its not the other parent putting you down all the time. He watched me grow for some years, then he moved out of the house. He came here and there, but never really stayed. He moved from here to there and I thought I could handle it. The time we did spend together where short and sweet. But not being here for my Birthday, Thanksgiving, or even Christmas. Its wrong that I feel like we dont have anything in common anymore. You never around to ask me How was my day ? or How was my little princess doing? Would you even be there when I graduate or even get marry. Are you going to stand me up like before. Where is my father? Even we do talk its just Im at work and when I get off Im off the class Never get the time to hold a full conversation on Facebook. Its not the same as a face - to face conversation. I remember when I was younger I used to cry cause my father couldnt come read to my class for Real Men Read day at LCES. Im bout to be 15 on Dec. 8, 2013. 15 without a father here to give me a hug and tell me Happy Birthday Baby Girl. Nothing. But its okay Im fine without it. I didnt get it last year so this year will feel the same. I do love you just wish you only knew how it hurts me so much when you not here Bye Dad..
