My house is mostly quiet with everyone resting or napping except for Papa Phillips who is pickin hymns on the guitar and singing.... Despite all the germs that I feel swarming around, my heart feels a bit of peace in this moment. Just as I am, without one plea. but that thy blood was shed for me. and that thou bidst me come to thee, O lamb of God, I come. I come. And another verse... Just as I am, though tossed about with many a conflict, many a doubt, fightings and fears within, without, O Lamb of God, I come, I come. Yup. That. Just as I am, Jesus. In all my messy, imperfect, grouchy glory. Im so thankful God accepts us just as we are!
