My humble piece of advice to any student at campus who intend to contest in the next coming guild election is that, the decision for your contest should not be subject to what perception others hold about you but it should be more self centered. Many people would chose to die a hero than be ruled as a slave, and thus sometimes it becomes more comfortable when you first give yourself a trial than let your fate be decided by a simple minority. I feel so comfortable today even when i didnt successfully made it thru as Gulu University Guiid president last year (but took the first runner up position) just because that contest have helped me to determine the basics and power of my mental reasoning and what weight i hold mentally when subject to a sadden conditional test, it has also aided me a lot of experience and a concrete foundation upon which my future political ambition and career shall stand. Today i very well know my strength and weaknesses and had it not been due to election irregularities who knows? So in conclusion thus, i would say stand up and let that hidden treasure in you be seen.
