My husband gets stomach ulcers when he takes ibuprofen. His aches and chills with this chest infection were so bad the night he took it and immediately got a bleeding ulcer. We have been treating it with cinnamon oil in water, and the bleeding has stopped. Here is another protocol said to help with the bacteria that causes ulcers. For immediate relief add 2 - 4 drops of Peppermint to a small amount of water or juice and drink.
