My husband has now been dead for three months. Im not sure if its getting any easier. In some ways, on some days, it actually feels much harder as the reality and finality begin to settle in. Being in DC, spending serious quality time with Sparrow and one of Benjis best high school friends ( Peter Boyle ) has brought up a lot of joy and sorrow. A recurring theme over the past couple late night conversations was how amazing Ben was at keeping in touch with the myriad of people that meant something Real to him. So, I want to take this moment, this opportunity, to invite you to reconnect or reach out to someone who means something to you that you may not have been in touch with for . . . it doesnt matter how long. If you think about them, they are important enough. Pick up the phone and call. Share your love. If not for your own benefit, then for the legacy of this great man, Benjamin Stone-Francisco who was all about connecting genuinely with everyone he met. I love you, Benj. And, I love You.
