My husband is writing his own book of rules with regards to fairy tale characters when I work overnight: 1. the tooth fairy doesnt work on weekends (he forgot).... 2. The elf on the shelf brought money from the tooth fairy because she lives at the North Pole, too (it was too stressful for him to move the elf AND slip $ under her pillow)...and 3. Rudy, our elf, didnt move from his location last night because he didnt want to leave Abigail since she is sick (he fell asleep and the girls woke up first).... And we have at least a few more years of this!
