My husband spent more than a decade serving our country. When he was no longer able to serve on Active Duty, he continued this as a government contractor. The agency is similar to the CIA with the stars on the wall instead of names since intelligence ops work best when they are unknown. This unfortunately leaves people like Mike doing a thankless task. Usually the only time what they do makes the news is when something has gone wrong, yet very rarely the do we hear of the plots that have been foiled thanks in part to their hard work. So it is a rare treat that the President gives a message thanking NGA and acknowledges a little of what they do every day without the general public being aware.
