My husband was headed to Lancaster this morning to a back Dr. but didnt get out of Nels. when him and a deer met! He just set his speed at 70 when the deer came out and Tom tried to get out of the way of it but it came back and slammed the front of the car, Tom wound up going into a ditch out of the ditch and landed on some rocks. The car is totaled, some ladies were behind him and stopped and they called the State Patrol for him, when they got there Tom was in shock and couldnt even remember his so. sec. no. The squad came and checked him out, Tom said he didnt think he was hurt any where but Im sure hes going to be sore tonight. Im thankful hes alright but he said he thought he met his maker when it all happened! State Patrol said that was the 3rd one hit this morning!
