My interpretation: He reminds himself to stop looking towards all these things in the past and turn around and look to the future... where the skull on the ground reminds him of his mortality and the owing to the temporary nature of this existence, that things must move on, putting the guilts into perspective. Today would have been my 10 year anniversary. Im not sad about that but I was a bit contemplative today. Im turning around and looking to the future. The past is just that. I done left it, I ought to try to quit trying to look at it like a death. Much good came from that marriage, mostly my 2 amazing shorties😍
