My interpretation of “#PK!” :) Watched “#PK” movie. Absolutely a great concept indeed. Extremely complicated matters like religious contradictions, social order, religious extremism and individual’s belief have been highlighted with great sense of humor. And the director along with the entire team deserve the credit for the same. Sometimes it appears mocking religious sentiments and it seems so if you watch it through the prism of religion. I would suggest all those who are vehemently and violently opposing the film to watch it once. Of course some objectionable comedy scenes are there but those should be taken in on a lighter note. The film is not at all anti-Hindu or for that matter not against any religion. It is purely an entertainment effort with a small message to the society. And #tolerance is the greatest virtue of the “#Hinduism” as it is not only a religion but a way of life as envisaged in the verdict by the Supreme Court. And that’s the reason why after so many attacks from all across the world over the centuries, Hinduism has sustained since it has penetrated deep into the hearts of the Indian society through its multi culture, diverse nature collaborating with all the religions on this earth whose eventual path will lead to the Almighty called by different names, forms etc in each of those practices. As said by Swami Vivekananda, “a starved stomach needs nothing but a plate full of breads rather than somber religious teachings”, instead of creating hue and cry on the name of religion, need of the hour is to serve the less privileged, deprived people and that is the message of the film! And some politicians shamelessly mixing religious sentiments into the same to stir the social order for their vote bank politics. Hope the learned people will not fall prey for the same.
