My late new years resolution/every morning workout routine - TopicsExpress

My late new years resolution/every morning workout routine (hangovers are NOT an exception). I created it to be a body weight based strength and flexibility workout encompassing all the muscle groups. No weights needed. Physical goals for the year: handstand, split, one footed bridge while foot-hooping (lol), 5 hoops sustained (knee, waist, chest, 2 on arms). Whenever you see me ask me how its going so I feel like Im letting you down if Ive been slacking. Thanks :) Better yet do it with me! Only 15 minutes despite the long list (repeat to make it 30), everything is in 30 second increments - Plank - Side Planks - Down Dog - Tip Over Tuck (standing, fold at the waist and clasp hands behind you, let arms fall over your head) - Standing Squats (regular, single leg, wide leg) - Thigh Stretch - Chair Dips - Triceps Stretch - Flutter Kicks (lying on ground, legs together and a few inches off the ground, alternate legs doing fast, small kicks) - Donkey Kicks (on hands and knees, kick upwards behind you, alternating legs) - Fire Hydrants (same concept as donkey kicks but bring leg outwards with bent knee. Like your a dog.. ya kno..) - Wrist Flexibility (on knees with hands on floor in front, rocking back and forth. 1. fingers out 2. fingers in 3. fingers in and palms up - Push-ups - Sit-ups - Segmental Rotation (lying on back, knees bent, slowly twist legs over to one side keeping back flat on the ground, then over to the other) - Table Top Pose - Bridge Pose - Hollow Hold - Superman - Single Leg Hamstring Stretch - Lizard Pose - Headstand
