My latest junk shop marvel of mid-twentieth century industrial - TopicsExpress

My latest junk shop marvel of mid-twentieth century industrial design is obviously James T. (Tiberius) Kirks very own hand mixer. Sharing more than a passing resemblance to the Star Ship Enterprise, this gloriously spacey kitchen appliance is a circa 1960 General Electric model M47 hand mixer. From what I can gather, they were made from 1959 to possibly as late as 1974. I paid a lofty $12.00 for it, but I feel it was well worth it, and it will now proudly hang by a string from the ceiling of my little retro-stuff/guitar room To Boldly Mix Cake Batter Where No Man Has Mixed Cake Batter Before! (Star Trek theme, here).
