My latest trip, to Virginia, in November 2013, my husband Charlie and I made a special point to stop in at Big Stone Gap, Va. to visit with one of my author friends Adriana Trigiani. Adriana has just finished making her new movie Big Stone Gap that is set to be out this Fall. The movie, starring Whoopie Goldberg and Ashley Judd. During the time Adriana had emailed me, and asked me to come and be an extra in her new movie, I was unable to make the trip. So, when we arrived there, this day, we caught up with Adriana, and she had set us up to be an extra, this particular day, but the director said they were only doing house scenes and couldnt use us, this day. But, Charlie and I did get to sit in, with Adriana and her film crew members, while they were enjoying their breakfast that morning. Adriana and I became author friends around the year 2000. My trip to Big Stone Gap is all on this video..... Adriana Trigiani, May your new movie become a huge success. Im so disappointed I was unable to be there, in Big Stone, when Adriana needed me, but Im also very grateful to her, for even having asked me to come and be an extra in her new movie. Notice, in this video, when Charlie mentions seeing Christmas Lights along the way. Yes, there were Christmas lights, this past November, but we were fortunate enough not to have had any snow. But, weve sure made that up, this season, with all of the snow weve all been getting now.... Enjoy folks!
