My lunch break and once a year political comment...(almost blew it on that moronic politician #KirbyDelauter who says you cant use his name without permission, seriously...what the hell is wrong with that guy? Wait...that doesnt count as my post, dang it!) National Parks. Seriously, they are the one thing that I am certain does the public good, tree hugger or not, yet it always gets caught up in fed money battles. Sure, I get it. Balance of how much is too much or not enough money. I am saddened that the National Parks are raising rates at paid places and starting to charge for places they once didnt. Seriously congress, is it worth the partisan divide you continually foster and grow in this country to not adequately fund such public treasures? Why does it have to be so RIGHT or so LEFT? I know, those are the loudest and righteous folks to fight for their cause. I hear ya, your cause and government fundamentalology (yeh, I just made that up, the red squiggly line underneath reminds me so) is the right one. So your voice must be heard. All the while all of us in the middle are over here like, meh, work it out children. Imagine if there was a loud lobbying voice for the middle not so liberal or conservative group of folks. HAHA Me neither. Can you imagine Brunswickians, image when you roll down to the boat ramp in Brunswick and you have to pay to get access. Imagine that day. LOL I have a better idea, everyone who uses the parks start donating money and/or your time to the parks. We do. I guess no more summer fun runs without paying a fee Anne Zumbach? nbcwashington/news/local/Access-Fees-Proposed-for-1st-Time-Along-Entire-CO-Canal-287571531.html Here is the National Park Services feedback page for this specific topic. parkplanning.nps.gov/projectHome.cfm?projectID=56153 Here is the National Park Services feedback page for all opne items for discussion. parkplanning.nps.gov/
