My mind is plagued with a problem that I think affects people all over the world. And although the subject will seem ridiculous in comparison to other worldwide problems, I would love to hear some serious feedback on the matter. Because for most of you, after youve read the rant and finished chuckling or rolling your eyes, you might very well come to the realization that this problem needs solved. So here it is: When person goes to McDonalds and orders a happy meal, the person taking the order will ask, Is this for a boy or a girl We all know that the question implies that if its a girl who wantd the happy meal, shes going to want the stereotypical girl toy, like a doll or a bracelet. So, the little girl who likes to play with trucks (a common boy toy in a happy meal )or the little boy who would really like that plastic magic-slingin doll with secret powers to help GI joe slay the dragon, will be disappointed .People, its the 21st century. Women fight wars and men help brides SAY YES TO THE DRESS. I have one idea: McDonalds could provide both toys to all who order the Happy Meal. If the child wants to play with both toys, more power to him/her. P.S: This issue is low on the World problems Totum pole, but its worth noting.
