My mind was like a jumping bean during meditation yesterday. I can often calm it by bringing awareness to another person -- sending them love, offering an intention or prayer for them. I bring an image of them to mind and hold steady on that image. It can be someone I love, someone that challenges me, someone I dont even know but want to lift up with energy and prayer. Some of you heard my story of the homeless woman in NYC that left an impression on me this week. She has been a beautiful focus of my meditation for the last two days. It feels good to reach out to others in this way. Energy travels.
