My mom, Cynthia Capshaw, is a mixture of Mary Poppins, the Queen of England and Anastasia Steele. You say, Whaaaa? Thats what I say too. She pronounces zombie zumbie and about five times a day she exasperatedly shouts Tarryn, stop with your filthy mouth! Mostly, I cuss just to hear her say that. She thinks that Im normal, which makes her insane. And recently I found out that shes a Quentin Tarantino fan...creepy. When Harry Potter came out shed whisper witchcraft every time I spoke about the books, but a few years later I conned her into reading them, and then she was whispering the movie comes out next week with eager, glowing eyes. My favorite thing about her is that she flies from Tennessee to Seattle once a month to see her grandchildren. Once a month. And for a week. My favorite thing is when she says I miss my babies so much... and then she hastily adds -and you too. I only hope to be as good of a mother to my children as she was to me. I am so confident in who I am, and I think its because she was so confident in who I was. Best. Mom. Ever. Happy %^$&%^#$ Mothers day, blondie! (I only didnt cuss for real because some of you would get offended. But when I call her Im going to cuss).
