My mom and Grandma are on their way to Seattle for the Gamma Knife radiation consultation, MRI, vitamin C infusion and hopefully the Gamma Knife treatment if she qualifies. The plan is to return Thursday. Prayers for a safe, uneventful trip and safe procedures. Papa was alert before they were leaving, he has to stay home. He was sad Grandmomie was leaving and they both cried. My Grandma struggled with the decision of whether to go or not and leave my grandpa behind at such a vulnerable time, and still is hesitant to get the procedure, worrying about side effects, etc.= so prayers!!!! Papa is completely dependent on caregivers/family right now..we have to have 2 people 24 hours a day. Again, even if you have an hour to visit this is so helpful for them both and can give some respite to the load. Papa responds very well to music, if someone wants to just come and play or sing this would make his day. :) Thank you all. :)
