My mom is planning a trip to Texas to visit me and to introduce me to her new boyfriend so I can meet him. I told my mom you can stay with me or would you like a nice Bed & Breakfast and a hotel on the Riverwalk. She told me her and John want to explore San Antonio during the Fiesta time here. I told my mom most people I know do not venture too far on Fiesta week/month here. It’s kinda of a wild time here in Texas but if she wants to see the tourist’s sites I can be a tour guide. (Hell, the schools and banks are closed during “Battle of the Flowers”) They decided not to stay on the River or with me but getting a nice place nearby. I told her San Antonio has millions of hotels/motels, it is a huge tourist place. So I am rounding up some ideas and places for her. Glad she has a new boyfriend. I am taking 10 days’ vacation from work. I can always sic the dog (Mastiff) on him if I don’t like him so I have that going for me. Mom wants to borrow my car. I don’t know if she wants my Durango or my Smart Car, she didn’t say. So I guess I have to them detailed prior to her coming here. (Dog fur in the Durango. After all, I call it the Dog’s Car.)
