My mom just told me that Gary Shirley isnt doing well. I had heard it on Facebook but hadnt said anything yet. I just have to say that I struggled to fit in at school, but Gary was one of the few teachers who was constantly nice to me. He is the ONLY teacher besides Stephanie McGuire to speak to me after school. We joked in Walmart every time we saw each other. We joked in Kinmundy when we saw each other. ALL of my other teachers hide from me. Its actually pathetic but funny at the same time. Gary Shirley is an EXCELLENT teacher and man. Ricky and I think the world of him and I wish him a very speedy recovery. Hope he feels much better soon. My favorite Mr. Shirley quote: We should just listen to Sarah for this hour, Im tired. Then he let me talk the whole class period with him. It was hilarious.
