My mom passed away peacefully yesterday morning. I find myself at a loss for words trying to describe her extraordinary legacy. She was the epitome of a mother and the kindest, sweetest, most gifted, and altruistic person. When I think of my mom I have always had the most comforting feeling that everything is going to work out no matter the current obstacle, which is exactly what she would say. My mom was the most beautiful person inside and out. My mom had a radiant presence that touched everyone she knew, and will live on. What a gift my mom was to this world. I am beyond grateful for her beaming presence and the limitless things she gave, including my beautiful sister, Jessica. My mom was a faithful student and practitioner of Kadampa Buddhism at the Kadampa Meditation Center in Glen Spey, NY.
