My mom texted me the other day asking me how my day was. As a typical 18 year old boy would respond, I texted her back saying everything was good. This answer was not acceptable, though. She wanted what she would call “details”. So without further ado, for my mom and other old people who want to know “details”, here is how things have been going down lately. I am enjoying my time here at Pepperdine. I have met some pretty great people here, and some who are really good, but not quite great. I have also met not-so-good people, but I do my best to disassociate from them. I am still in the midst of a lifelong plan to change the world, but I will keep you updated as things happen. I think I already changed a tiny portion of the world, so that’s good. Sometimes I get tired of waking up and seeing how beautiful the ocean is that morning, but that’s not a bad problem to have. I’m a frat star now. I do super frat things and live that hardcore frat life. It’s really frat, but, you know, that’s me. This spring I’m going to Nicaragua for a service project. (If you want to help fund it, go to impact.pepperdine.edu.) I think that’ll be fun. Also, I am going to study abroad next year in Buenos Aires. That will probably be cool. I like classes. Some of them are too early, but, hey, that’s life. My faith has grown a lot. God has done some pretty sweet things here. I would like to say I have grown a lot, too, but I guess I’ll let other people decide that. I still don’t work out. Anyways, I hope that’ll suffice as “details”. You’re welcome, Mom.
