My morning started at the courthouse waiting for a historic moment in Eufaula. History was made for sure!! Then I went to Walmart to complete my Christmas Dinner food list. I had a cart full with just marshmallows left on my list. When police came in and said, the building must be evacuated. Policemen said, mam grab your purse and leave your cart. I looked around and saw Walmart staff and police escorting people out... I turned towards the back of store because Don was in the back getting eggs. I know he doesnt hear anything and very little around him... so, I was going to make a dash for the back of the store for him. Policeman tapped me on the shoulder and said, going wrong way.. I told him please go get my husband he is in back of store. He cant hear the announcements. So, nice policeman took off running to the back to get Don. Don and I waited outside of store for a couple of minutes and then police said, get away from the windows and the door. Everyone get in your cars and leave. So, we did... we went to Win-Dixie and shopped all over again! Ended up spending twice as much... because Dixie had... buy one get one free things... which I am a sucker for whether I need it or not!! Exciting in Eufaula today!! Who says nothing happens here... just follow me around... my family has always said, trouble follows me!
