My morning went a little something like this: *woke up ready and excited to start on new manuscript* *Husband informs me the night before that hell need the computer for a podcast. The computer Ive been using as a backup since mine is dying a slow death* Me: Okay. No biggie. *Goes to email new manuscript to self to place on iPad* E-mail says: HAHAHA NOPE. CANT ATTACH SAID DOC Me: Huh? *makes several attempts* *email continued to be a douche canoe and not comply* *Husband manages to send doc* Me: Whew. Close call. *Goes to work* *Tries to download file to iPad* *Discovers doc is corrupt* *Discovers every revision I made during my read through is forever stuck in a corrupt doc on his computer* Me: *COMMENCES FREAK OUT MELTDOWN* *Husband copies and pastes entire document in an email so I dont lose it* Me: *opens email* *discovers all format and italics are lost* *Takes deep breath* *Begins reformatting 36,000 words* Me: Im gonna finish this damn manuscript if its the last thing I ever do. #TGIF
