My most recent Poem Written back home in Mpumalanga, Bethal Love in its youth We were…too loud not to be heard And as vibrant as the wings of a hummingbird Filled with too much excitement To move along with the herd We had movement that None would dare curb See, you and I… We were like God’s unspoken Word When released We would project Never to return without Making necessary effect I would stare into your eyes And see my youth reflect When I met you I was born From my juvenile stance My umbilical was torn We had visions to pursue Which left too little time to yawn What happened my love? You were never such a bore We were like the wings of an eagle Whenever you and I saw(soar)… Each other...(TBC on stage) Note: To hear the full Poem catch me at the next Penseed show.
