My mother, she calls to inform me that Melissa Etheridge is about to be on Huckabees show, live. Nice enough thought, thanks mom. But then the humorous part begins, you know hes staunchly republican, I assumed she was a liberal(shes gay too if you didnt know). I said mom not all gay people are liberals. Then onto the DMV story for her re-licensing the other day, apparently there is a large map of the USA with pins stuck in it. The pins represent where people have been moving from, to Flathead County, Montana. No surprise, California, Washington and Colorado, many many pins. So I remind her that she and I both came here via 10-15 years in Washington state, after growing up in California. Mom points out that 3 states have legalized marijuana, the 3 states that are fleeing to Montana. The ideology and clarity of these shared thoughts, ARE SO BEYOND ME.
