My music tastes have always been a little different. For instance, when I was a teenager, I started listening to a lot of gospel choir music. In my opinion, Reverend Milton Brunson and the Thompson Community Singers were the best of that era, largely in part due to the powerful vocal ability of Kim McFarland-Anderson. So I recently went back to listen to my all-time favorite choir song For The Good Of Them and came to realize the irony: my favorite Bible verse happens to be Romans 8:28. Not sure which became a favorite first, but both have been sources of inspiration throughout my life.
