My name is Alexandra Suazo Im 17 years old and I was diagnosed with leukemia in May 20, 2013. Before I was diagnosed with blood cancer I had several symptoms such as; ◾Fatigue, weakness ◾Loss of appetite, weight loss ◾Night sweats ◾Bone/joint pain ◾Abdominal discomfort ◾Headaches ◾Shortness of breath ◾Easy bruising or bleeding ◾Petechiae (small red spots under the skin) ◾Paleness. When I went to the doctor I had got a physical exam and got a blood test on May 17, 2013. Monday morning(May 20,2013) My mom received a called from the clinic that she needed to take me to the ER that I had anemia. I arrive to the hospital and I got more blood test done and thats where they told me I had blood cancer...
