My name is Amanda Wilcox, most of you know me as Amanda Reckonwith. Ive decided to run for the position of Secretary for The Cowboys. I have been an active member of The Cowboys for the past few years. In that time I have worked with the board of directors to coordinate several events.The first club office that I held was in 1996 as the Norco Chapter FFA (Future Farmers of America) green hand Reporter. I held the position of Reporter for the next 2 years. I spent the next few years starting my family and in 2002 I was on the preschool parent board at Riverside Communality Collage in Norco. In 2006 I became the Treasurer of the Nuview Booster Club in Nuevo. I have since been very active with that board. I have held the position of Historian for seven years. I currently hold the position of President and have held it for six years in total. I was the Treasurer of the Mountain Shadows Booster Club in 2013-14 and am currently holding the position of Secretary for the Nuevo Historical Society and have been since 2012. Along with all of the board positions I have held, I have also been involved with other groups like Angle Tree of Nuevo, Nuevo Citizens Patrol, Friends of Nuevo and Nuevo Community Bingo. With these groups I have been in charge of various tasks such as organizing community events, decorations, soliciting donations, contacting the media and newspaper. I am looking forward to working as a team with the board and bringing the perspective of a shooter to this position. Thank you, Amanda Wilcox
