My name is Ilinca Bacila and I’m 15 years old. I was born in Romania on the 17th of august in 1998. My biggest passion is music. I started playing the piano when I was 7 and after two years I asked my father (who is a singer) to teach me how to sing. After about 1 year I went to my first singing contest and of course didn’t win. I kept on working and practicing and participating to some more competitions but without any great results. 3 years ago I watched a video on youtube of a girl named Taylor Ware. She was a singer and a yodeler. I immediately felt in love with the sound of yodeling and wanted to know how to do it. So I just kept trying and yodeling until one day my mum (who is a singer too) heard me. That day changed my life. That week I learned this song called “He taught me to yodel”, participated to a contest and for the first time, won the first prize. I usually sing country and pop music. Recently I started singing traditional yodel from Switzerland too. I have concerts every week in different cities in Romania. This year I won the biggest music contest in Romania. The song I performed was written especially for me, and it is the first Romanian yodel. This year I am in the live shows of the X Factor ROMANIA. But this time not as a soloist but in a group of four girls. My dream is to finish school and college here, and move to the USA and become an actress and a singer. Fell in love with this beautiful young lady, she is everything you would want and more in a grand-daughter, daughter or niece .
