My name is Onute, and this is my confession. This is a small experiment to see how many people REALLY realize their true beauty, wait for the catch, WITHOUT MAKEUP. Ive seen countless friends on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr, Pinterest, etc.. post hundreds of inspirational quotes and inspirational videos of women and men around the world talking about self confidence and the real meaning of beauty. This is YOUR chance to BE the inspiration for the people who dont realize their full potential and dont see themselves as beautiful because of what society defines beauty as - which is an image of nothing but fiction. We all know people who we see as beautiful, who dont believe that they are because of their flaws or physical features. Dont just repost someone elses quote or someone elses video to help persuade those people otherwise. BE the change you want to see, and show the world that the true image of beauty does not consist of makeup, filters, or photoshop...but who you are as a person. Whether it be Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr, Pinterest, or any other social media website, I challenge you to fight against societys definition of beauty. HERES HOW: 1. Take a picture of yourself with absolutely no makeup. 2. Post the picture as your default on whichever social network you prefer. 3. Title the picture with a caption saying I AM BEAUTIFUL. 4. (Optional) Post your picture along with a sentence or two explaining why you chose to be a part of this on the Facebook Group I have created entitled like your caption (I AM BEAUTIFUL), where others can share their own personal thoughts and experiences. So, show the world what beauty truly means by saying I AM BEAUTIFUL. ...because you are. Happy sharing!
