My name is Veronica and Im a fuzzy-nose nuzzling addict. It has been four days since my last nose nuzzle. This is making me very sad this morning. Can anyone share some pet-selfies? Otherwise, I AM feeling better. The pain patch is doing its job to provide continuous pain relief, supplemented by oral pain meds. However, they make me really loopy. The catheter and surrounding spasming muscles are the worst, but my back is also occasionally sore. The third plasmapheresis went really well; Ive seen the same tech for several days now and I really like her. I take a break from the plasmapheresis today and start up again tomorrow. Last night I was able to pick up my right foot and cross it over my left foot!!!! I teared up I was so excited. They moved me to the neurology unit, so I have a new room and different nurses. They put nice signs on my door so I can try to sleep through the night. Donald and Meredith brought chocolate crossiants and PRUNES for breakfast yesterday and this morning. I also had a cup of coffee this morning which tasted so good!! Robert came midday yesterday and brought Potbellys and, most importantly, a sugar cookie. Conor and Janet sent me a beautiful bouquet which was waiting for me when I got back from treatment. Vince brought delicious Chinese food and we giggled through Catania dice. I also made hospital banana pudding.
