My neighbor and her husband are sick; she called me up and requested some of my Fire Cider. I dropped some off, and then I made some chicken soup for them. They really enjoyed it, and she wanted the recipe. The soup just evolved as I made it. Here is an attempt to record the recipe: 1) Buy a hormone-free chicken - plucked. 2) Take the giblets out of the chicken, put a Miller Lite beer half full in its rear. Rub with Chef Marias Super Chicken Shit Chicken Seasoning (thanks for the gift, Mom) go to supershitspices for yours. 3) Place in a tin cake pan and put on the gas grill until 180 degrees in the thick part of the meat. 4) Boil the giblets and chicken neck in a 2 quart pan with water and 2 cups of Chardonnay, whole fresh jalapeno, 3 carrots broke in half, onion cut in 1/4s, 5 celery stalks broke in half, tablespoon peppercorns, Korean seasoning salt, 3 tablespoons honey, thyme, marjoram, bay leaves, parsley, two sprigs of fresh rosemary, 2 big teaspoons chopped garlic 5) Take the cooked giblets out and feed to your dog, but keep the neck in the pot 6) Cool the broth and baked chicken over night 7) Put the broth through a colander to separate. 8) Pick the meat off the cold chicken and put the carcass in a 4 quart pan. Put water, 1 Yingling Lager beer, cup of Chardonnay, 4 springs fresh rosemary, 1 whole onion in 1/4s, 3 carrots broke in half, 5 celery stalks broke in half, 1/2 teas ginger, 1/2 teas turmeric, and the chunks from the broth the night before, squirt of Siracha hot sauce, 3 teas chopped garlic. Boil down. 9) Separate through a colander again and cool. 10) Chop bunch of carrots, an onion, a bunch of celery up and put in the 4-quart pan after Korean chili oil and grape seed oil is hot. Add more garlic. 11) Pick the meat off the carcass and neck and add to the 4-quart 12) Put the boiled up vegetables and spices in a blender with some water and liquefy. 13) After the 4-quart veggies are tender, pour the broth in the pan. Add another can of Yingling, 1/2 cup of dried barley, 1 small package of saffron flavored yellow rice, chopped baked chicken. 14) Add the liquefied veggies to the soup. 15) Simmer until the rice and barley are done. I think I captured it all. It really turned out great!
