NDP Past Candidate Paul Loewenberg announces support of new provincial candidate, Suzanne Shawbonquit -“Suzanne’s provincial experience and background with entrepreneurial strategies makes her a perfect candidate for this provincial election. She stands for the same ideals held by the Ontario NDP and I know that Suzanne will be a natural fit for provincial politics. We first met 20 years ago when she was working for the Northern Lights Festival on developing new programming through the year. When I became the Artistic Director in 1999, She was one of the sets of footprints I have tried to follow since.” “When I first heard that there was going to be an election, I filed my papers to run. The media had called me that first day and asked if I would run in the election. I remarked then that this race won’t come down to parties or who is governing or who is opposition… but would be the freshest face with the best ideas. Having been around a couple of these now… I can say that Suzanne is the best candidate to support in this election. We sat down last month and I not only thought that she would make a great provincial candidate, but that I would even like to work on her campaign.
