My notes (10.23.14): Scripture ref. - Proverbs 3:1-7: 1. My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: 2 For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. 3 Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: 4 So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man. 5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. 7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. We must LISTEN to the spirit within us in order to know what God is calling us to do. Gods word (as written in the Holy Bible) is the KEY to obtaining clear direction from God. OBEDIENCE will result in perfect peace that will eliminate all doubt concerning our calling. But FIRST, we must be WILLING to be used by God, and our hearts must be cleansed of all things that are not of God. We must have an open mind. Lastly we MUST SURRENDER our lives or our will totally to God. Father God, I humble myself before You today, asking that You to please show me what my calling is. I have a general idea; but Im not totally sure. Father God, Im willing to go wherever You send me to do Your will. Father God, I love You; and I thank You for calling me to be a servant in Your beautiful kingdom on earth. Amen
