My number is 9 -- so here are 9 things you may not know about me. If you like this I will give you a number! 1. I once won a blue ribbon at the Canfield Fair for snowflake press cookies (the first time I ever entered anything). 2 Family is the most important thing to me and Im thankful that my Mom (at 83) and my Dad (at 86) are still here and doing really well. 3. The hardest days in my life were the day my sister-in-law died (bacterial meningitis) -- she was only 48 years old and had been sick less than 24 hours; And the day her daughter, my niece, died (only 20 years old) just 8 years later, very suddenly due to untreated kidney infection. 4. The best days in my life -- when I married my husband and the day my son Daniel, was born. 5. My one moment of fame, when I won a radio contest that sent me and friend to Orlando Florida to meet Jon Bon Jovi backstage at a concert. 6. The farthest Ive ever been from Youngstown was a trip to California -- I found out people either love California or hate California (Im in the latter group) -- never cared that I didnt go back. 7. After tracing my ancestry, I found two new cousins that I never knew I had (one in Florida on my Moms side of the family and Cathie Timlin Hebb, here in Youngstown from my Dads side of the family) 8. I have absolutely no artist bones in my body -- though I wish I could play a musical instrument. 9. I dont have a bucket list, but wish I did (maybe thats the first thing on my bucket list).
