My numerous bets regarding whether the black boxes from MH-370 will be recovered is looking better every day. I argued they will not be found, everyone else around the table at Sires that night said, yes they will. I do believe they will find some floating evidence of the aircraft but I do not believe the actual wreckage will ever be located under water. I think I will win about a dozen gin and tonics. The ping from the box only has about another ten days before it dies out. This one to be one of the many unsolved mysteries in aviation which should allow the conspiracy theorist among us to have ample material to speculate for many years to come. I heard one this morning that some general says the airplane was hijacked and flown to Pakistan for the purpose of another terrorist attack. Yeah, right!
