And Warren Buffett’s annual March letter to his Berkshire Hathaway shareholders omits a crucial fact, one that’s related to the Keystone Pipeline controversy. If you go to page 11, you’ll see Buffett’s discussion of the success of Berkshire’s railway, BNSF. What Buffett doesn’t mention is that this success is directly related to the lack of the Keystone Pipeline. Instead of shipping Canadian/North Dakotan oil via a pipeline, it’s coming south via rail tanker cars. And many of those rail lines and tankers belong to BNSF. You now know why people like Neil Young and a wide assortment of cronies that come up here are pin-head lobbyists of Warren Buffet. And another thing I need to say to all you tree-hugging progressives idiots; if you think you are green by riding your bicycle; throw it away! It was spawned by the oil industry. The tires are a petroleum product...the frame was made with the help of gas-fired furnaces so if youre true to the green party line, throw it away...actually throw most of your footwear away too...anything that has a rubber sole...another petroleum product! Did you know that 97% of all products used in the western world in one way or another is related and was spawned by the oil industry!
