My opinion.. there is good and bad in everyone.. all of us possess it. Circumstances can bring either side out. Situations also. As a society we dont always do our best. Surely we can do more. At this stage in my life. Ive decided we have to be careful to assume we know the answers. Very rarely we ever have all the information and without that we cant make an honest conclusion. Form what I do know, I believe Justin Bourque was a very unhappy and troubled young man. Who would bring a rifle on a camping trip? I think he committed a horrible offence by taking 3 lives. I believe that the methods the police used were standard practice to avoid more violence and it worked. I also believe there are bad police officers. I also believe most start out with the best of intentions but, after years of seeing the worst of what the human race has to offer, like heath care workers, etc. they burn out or become jaded. Often the old adage Walk a mile in my shoes applies. Likewise none of us know what it was like to walk in Justin Bourques shoes. All the way round there are a lot of people suffering. Personally I was terrified the whole time this man was on the loose. Im glad he was caught. I hope he gets some help but the system isnt great for that. I believe it failed him already. Maybe its a call for the rest of us to try to do better. Things are changing in our world and like birth it can be painful. Try to not be too judgemental.. 3 hrs · Like · 1
