My personal countdown to October 7, 2014 and the release of my favorite series on DVD continues with the closing to one of my top five episodes entitled Whose Woods Are These? The episode embodies the series perhaps more than any as it chronicles Kevin, Paul and Winnies ill-fated attempt to hold on to a piece of their childhood by saving the woods they use to play in as kids. Im surprised the creative team behind this episode didnt use Joni Mitchells Big Yellow Taxi at some point in the episode. After all the song does include the line They paved paradise and put up a parking lot. Maybe that would have been too obvious.
