My poem: Delightful Downfall The moon comes up my mood goes down That beautiful light brings on my blissful depression The thing that once brought me joy now brings on my pending doom My nightmares are alive They chase me for hours through the night Every corner holds a different hatred Something I dont like about myself First corner; the darkness whispers Youre fat Second corner; Youre ugly Third corner; Youre worthless Fourth; Why are you even here? I lay there in a ball hoping the nightmares will leave But they dont Every corner I turn I stumble downward a little Eventually I find myself tripping Tumbling down this delightful downfall I hit the ground, it was wet I open my eyes to see Im in a puddle of my own tears I look around for an old friend Moonlight shining off of it Stained with the stories of my past I put it to my skin and continue my book One drop, two drops, tree drops, four Such a delightful downfall The tears mix with my blood What has my life become? I think to myself Remember when you were a kid? So sweet and innocent Look at the fresh blood and those old scars, youre not so innocent now my dear Just a little deeper doll Itll all be over Slice a little deeper Find true happiness We both know you cant get that here Goodbye, my delightful downfall ~rainbow batman~
