My policy re Asylum Seekers The issue of asylum seekers is a national one that need consistent attention, it shouldn’t be brought to the media during election time. It is a human right issue that doesn’t deserve to be traded for voter’s content. According to DLP policy and my own judgment, I will support a policy that guarantee fair onshore processing for asylum seekers, I will also urge Australian legislative and executive bodies to increase humanitarian intake through the United Nations high commission for refugees, and this process will work best in collaboration with countries in the region by working hard to stop people smugglers from endangering human lives..
