My problem with our leaders in Nigeria is that even their long term vision is for their pockets. they handle our economy, resources and funds carelessly, and thats why we are not progressing. Nigeria is the only OPEC country that imports refined fuel, cos we cannot produce enough for local consumption. Its a shame. Now, lets make progress. How much does it cost to build a refinery? even if we cant build one immediately, what stops the Govt from compelling the International oil companies from building the refineries in Nigeria? But they wont embark on that, because of them are profiting from the oil marketers, or they are even the importers themselves.
