My question - since the Government, in its "infinite wisdom" has seen fit to "partially shutdown the Government" and civilian employees will not be receiving a paycheck while the shutdown continues - does this include Congress, the Pres, the VP, the Supreme Court. They are, after all, civilians in the strictest terms - they are not military and as far as I know you are either one or the other if you work for the Goverment...regardless of how you got there - elected only means you "applied for the job" by means of campaigning - same as presenting a resume and getting an interview for the job - so do they or do they not get paid. If they continue their salaries - we need to voice a strong objection - preferrably with a recall or voting out all incumbants.
