My reaction to being hit by a deer: 1) [GASP] --not as in, Holy crap, I just got HIT by a deer, maybe Im hurt, or maybe my car is totaled, but more like How DARE this creature bludgeon my car with his own body; the NERVE of some people! 2) Where the HECK was Josh Jessen to tell me to not hit a deer? One of these days, youll hit a box, and youll realize you finally got YOURS. I guess I should blame One Renown for having me produce their record, which naturally leads to me road-testing master tracks and, in this case, a deer nailing my car in the right side fender. Oh, by the way, Im fine. Ask Brandon Luther Levi Smith, Zach Johnson, or Andrew Shaneyfelt. Theyll tell you I get... interesting... after wrecking things... such as snowboards... My car is fine, too. Its made of, you know, actual metal. In fact, that deer happened to face-plant into a previously made dent from a previous owner of my Corolla. Oh, and that popped my cornering light off. All-in-all things could have been a lot worse. Im not sure why God decided to keep me alive, as Hes done at different times under similarly weird circumstances. Funny that He lets me laugh in times like these. There you go, people. Have another reason to praise the name of Jesus. :)
