My reaction to the whole Packer MNF situation as I posted on a friends status. Bluntly put, Im getting sick of Packer fans being so demoralized about Rodgers. Dont get me wrong, he is a great athlete and yes, the teams game plan is set up around him. However, I feel like McCarthy and the rest of the team need to look at it as Ok, hes gone. Whos going to step up to the plate for the rest of the season though? Defense, Im looking at you. Their performance against both the Lions and the Bears the last two weeks have been horrible. I have been and will remain a Packer backer, but in a combination of the lackluster defense (mostly) and the uncertainty of transitioning to a new QB, Im honestly feeling that the Lions with take the division.
