My response to the rants about the BOEs in different counties... It boils down to this... Your the parents... YOU make the decision to put your child on that bus or drive them yourself... Just because schools are open doesnt mean they have to be there.... How many of you have not sent your child to school due to a vacation a birthday or etc. and the sun was shining....Because you made the choice to keep them home that day... I dont care either way, but u are the parent so dont send them ... The BOE has guidelines they have to go by ... I dont agree with everything they do or dont do.... But last time I checked my child is my responsibility ... I make the decisions where my child is concerned... If roads are bad keep them home!!! Its your God given right to protect them from harm... Just my opinion on the situation
